What we need from you to quote
We do not publish prices on this side of the business, because the price is not the hard part. What a quote turns on is the destination country, and every enquiry is scoped against it before a figure is given.
- The destination country, because the import requirements and the documentation follow from it rather than from the product.
- The presentation you need - strength, pack size and quantity. Availability and lead time are confirmed per order, not held as a standing catalogue.
- Who the consignee is, and whether they hold the import authorisation, since that determines what can be shipped and on what terms.
Where something falls outside what we can supply into a given market, we say so at that point rather than quoting against availability we cannot confirm.
Sales enquiryMedical devices and equipment
We distribute both consumables and capital equipment. Our consumables range covers reusable supplies such as masks, measuring equipment and hospital uniforms.
On the equipment side we supply patient monitoring devices and operating room equipment. Device class determines the registration and documentation required in each destination market, and we scope this per order before quoting.
Laboratory and specialist supplies
Alongside pharmaceuticals and devices we distribute laboratory supplies, prosthetic devices, nutritional supplements and special nutritional products.
Scorpion venom
We supply venom from Egypt's most medically significant scorpion species. Scorpion venom is used in antivenom production and in neuroscience and oncology research, where its peptide toxins serve as tools for studying ion channels and for tumour-targeting.
Supplied for laboratory and manufacturing use. This is not a medicinal product and is not for administration to humans or animals.
Yellow Mediterranean scorpion
Leiurus quinquestriatus
Crude whole venom from the north-African population, origin Aswan, Egypt. The material supplied is the complete secretion, unfractionated and without additives, carriers or preservatives, presented as a powder in sealed vials.
L. quinquestriatus is the source of chlorotoxin, charybdotoxin, the agitoxins and the scyllatoxin family. The scorpion venom page covers the composition, the extraction and how the material is stored and handled.
Documentation
The product specification and the safety data sheet are published, so you can read both before you enquire:
Every delivery is accompanied by the certificate of analysis for that batch. The venom is not classified as hazardous under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, it is not classified as dangerous goods for transport, and Leiurus quinquestriatus is not listed under CITES.
Export from Egypt and import into the destination territory remain subject to the applicable customs and biological-material controls, and the customer is responsible for holding the permits applicable at destination. Tell us the destination and intended use when you enquire and we will confirm what the shipment requires.
Venom is the one line we price in the open: the current price per gram is published on the venom exchange, the world's first for this material, along with the volume pricing and the order form.
